I can’t believe we are continually picked for the bottom 3rd of the conference. The lack of big man is a bit of concern, but might be fixed by league play with the return of Phillip Brown.
Once again, our beloved Falcons are flying well below the radar which is a good thing. However, based on the talent level I’ve observed and the verbal commitment from several of our returning players, I am confident our team will finish higher than the pre-season poll prediction. In fact, I would not be surprised to see this year’s Falcons complete an 16-20 win season. More importantly, win a game in the MWC tournament.
I had Air Force sixth in my poll, ahead of Wyoming. But I think it will be pretty difficult for the Falcons to break into that top five. As Air Force coach Jeff Reynolds has said, this league is going to be pretty tough this year.
