A few links as Air Force prepares for its second game of the season.
How do you find anything to critique in a 72-0 victory? That’s why we have coaches, ladies and gentlemen. Troy Calhoun found some problems in the Falcons’ blowout of Nicholls State that need to be corrected before heading to Big Ten country.
Also, don’t forget to check out columnist David Ramsey’s blog today, as he’ll be taking a look at the AF football team.
Finally, hooooo, boy, the folks in Boulder are not happy with their team and coach this morning. Colorado State dismantled the Buffs, 23-17, on Sunday in a game that was not as close as the score indicates.
But with most of the attention up here in Denver is focused on the Buffs’ loss, don’t forget that this was a CSU win. The Rams dominated the trenches and got standout play from their rookie QB.
And while this doesn’t touch, from a national perspective, what BYU did by knocking off Oklahoma, it’s yet another line the Mountain West Conference can add to its growing resume.
