Lamendola Probably out for Rest of Season

Air Force junior inside linebacker Ken Lamendola’s left knee injury – thought to be a problem with the medial collateral ligament – is more serious than expected.

“We had the MRI this morning, and it looks like it could be a situation where we have to address both the MCL and the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament),” Air Force coach Troy Calhoun said. “For him that’s unfortunate. And it’s really unfortunate for us too. But he’s a guy that will be extremely dedicated to rehabilitation and a guy that you can’t wait to get back to your team.”
