Pregame: Air Force to be without Taylor Stewart tonight

The Falcons won’t have Taylor Stewart, a key member of their bench, in tonight’s Mountain West opener against Utah.

Stewart, who averages 17.4 minutes off the bench, has a stomach virus and will not even dress tonight. The Falcons had hoped he’d feel well enough to play, but he didn’t improve enough before pregame warmups. Stewart is a swingman who averages 3.5 points per game.

In his place, 6-7 freshman forward Chris Blake will dress. Blake has not played this season.
