QB Kale Pearson, Tulsa, Okla. (Union)

5-10, 171

Pearson played receiver before his senior season, simply because the Union coaches wanted to get him on the field. He got his chance to step in at quarterback last season and led Union to a third straight Class 6A state title – Pearson accounted for 401 yards and four touchdowns in the title game. He stuck with his commitment to Air Force despite a late push by Tulsa.

Pierce was named the 2010 Region 8AAAA defensive player of the year. He had some offers from Mid-American Conference schools and almost every school in the Ivy League. His coach Leroy Ryals said he has good feet and speed, which could mean a future at outside linebacker for the Falcons. “Jordan is a great high school football player,” Ryals said. “He has play-making ability and instincts beyond his years.”

Robinson had offers from Army and Navy, among others, but chose Air Force. He played mostly safety in high school, and was a hard hitter, but will likely be a cornerback in college. “DeMarcus is a very physical cover corner,” his high school coach Joey McGuire said. “He has great speed and vision.”
