The second round of the round-robin Mountain West regular season gets underway for the Falcons tomorrow. They beat Utah in the conference opener, but it will be a lot tougher to win at the Huntsman Center.
“We’ll have a few different wrinkles, and they will too,” Reynolds said.
The first half of the conference season was pretty good for Air Force. The Falcons got three wins, were competitive in every game but one (New Mexico) and got a huge monkey off their backs with a road win (at TCU).
The Falcons do get the best teams in the league, San Diego State and BYU, at Clune Arena this time around, but expecting a win against either is tough. Other opponents have had a chance to see Air Force firsthand, so expect different contests the second time around.
“Everybody makes adjustments,” Reynolds said. “All the coaches in the league are really good, really experienced.”
