So much for that coveted playoff home-ice advantage. All four visiting teams won in the single-elimination first round Atlantic Hockey Association playoff games on Saturday.

Eleventh-place Sacred Heart, 6-3 winners at Bentley, are now Air Force’s opponent for the best-of-three second round playoff series at Cadet Ice Arena starting on Friday. Matt Gingera scored a hat trick during a five-goal third period for the Crusaders (6-23-6), which had an assist from Colorado Springs’ Patrick Knowlton.
