The Falcons had a shot.
With 10 seconds left and needing a 3-pointer to tie, Air Force went to senior Derek Brooks for a shot at a tie and a chance for victory in overtime.
His shot missed long, and then Michael Lyons missed a follow shot and the Falcons were done.
This was an impressive effort. Air Force delivered one of its best halfs of the season, taking a 33-31 lead into the locker room.
But the Falcons could not quite hold on.
