RB Devin Rushing, DeSoto, Texas (DeSoto)

Rushing played as a sophomore for one of the better high school programs in Texas, which isn’t an easy feat. Rushing helped his team go 10-2 last year, and scored two touchdowns in a playoff defeat.
WR Andrej Suttles, Dallas, Ga. (East Paulding)
5-10, 179
A Class AAAA all-state pick, Suttles broke all of his school’s receiving records, and had more than 1,000 yards as a senior. He participated in the prestigious North-South All-Star Football Classic in Georgia, and scored a touchdown in the game.
LB Toronto Thomas, Lithonia, Ga. (Martin Luther King)
6-2, 220
Thomas moved from defensive end to linebacker as a senior and had a great season, with 112 tackles. He chose Air Force over Wake Forest, which he said was his second choice. He will attend the prep school.

Awesome work! Thanks for the in depth signing day coverage!
Frank,
That’s great work and video but absolutely meaningless. Sorry but every one of these young men need to first show up in June for in-processing and then they need to stow their egos and suck up 4 years of the Academy. Then we’ll talk.
Well, perhaps technically you’re correct Bird, but I do figure college football fans like hearing about their recruits on national signing day. Or, I’ve wasted working the past 32 waking hours since Tuesday morning. Either way.
Well done! Thanks for your hard work on keeping AF Football fans informed.
Mike
That’s bit harsh Bird. That’s one of the reasons Calhoun and his staff are such a great fit for USAFA. They’ve been there and lived it. They understand what it takes to get through and the type of kid who’s likely to be successful. They’re completely up-front with their recruits about what they’re getting themsleves into, and the fact that football will not be the #1 priority. I’d be stunned if more than a small handful of these don’t make through BCT and to their first football practice.
