Pregame: Air Force vs. Boise State; Broncos’ point guard suspended

February 11th, 2012, 8:47 pm · Post a Comment · posted by

Late news from the Boise State side – starting point guard Westly Perryman has been suspended for tonight’s game vs. Air Force. Perryman has started all 22 games, averaging 6.8 points per game. He is the Broncos’ only senior starter.

That has to be good news for an Air Force team that should be excited for tonight’s game. It’s Dave Pilipovich’s debut as head coach, against a Boise State team that hasn’t won a road game this season, and hasn’t won a Mountain West game either. Air Force beat Boise State 74-59 in the first meeting.

There haven’t been any announced lineup changes for Air Force, as it seems Pilipovich won’t make drastic changes. Reserve big man Chase Kammerer remains out with an ankle injury.
